The airport is served daily by American and United Airlines
during the Ski Season. United Express provides several daily
connecting flights to Denver International Airport year around
(check with United regarding schedules as they change with
demand and season). 2 hour transfer. Please

Denver International Airport is served by all major
carriers with regularly scheduled service. We will meet any
flight by prearranged charter. Larger families and groups
may benefit from the lower airfares and the convenience of

Alpine Express serves many different types of transportation
needs for wedding planning. We realize that each individual
wedding is a special event unto itself and will work with
you or your wedding planner to provide a worry free professional
experience for you and your guests. We have transported wedding
guests to many locations around and in Crested Butte, Mt Crested
Butte, the Elk Mountains and surrounding areas. We have provided
50 passenger coaches to 4-wheel drive tours for our wedding

it all; group discounts, private rides, special executive
service, and more. We can make your group activity or travel

together with a group leader. To receive group rates and commissions,
Alpine Express must receive full payment with flight itinerary
and lodging destination at least 14 days prior to passenger
arrival date.

Wheel Drive Tours
Alpine Express offers the best in 4-Wheel Drive Tours.
Let our friendly knowledgeable drivers take you into the high
alpine environment. Most tours are one half day in length,
special tours are available by special arrangement. There
is a four person minimum.These tours are operated under special
permit of the USDA – Gunnison National Forest. Contact

Trail
Head Services
Trail head service begins in late June with scheduled
pick up times of 2:00 PM, 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM at the West
Maroon trail head. East Maroon pick up times will be approximately
20 minutes later. Reservations are required. Cost is $12.00
per person one way with a three passenger minimum ($36.00
minimum). Service is offered seasonally, please call to confirm
that the shuttle is operating before your hike.

Local Transit Service
Alpine Express offers Local Transit Service within
the Towns of Crested Butte, Mt Crested Butte, and Gunnison.
24 Hour advance reservations requested. Late Night Town Taxi
(fares required) between Crested Butte, Mt Crested Butte,
Meridian Lake, Skyland, Riverbend, Riverland, Trappers Crossing,
Nicholson Lake, and Crested Butte South is operated with the
support of the Crested Butte Bartenders Association, the Mountain
Express, the Towns of Crested Butte and Mt Crested Butte.
The hours of operation for this service are between 10:00
PM and 2:30 AM, nightly during the Ski Season and Summer Season;
Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights during the off season.
